The “Cat” print takes advantage of the irresistible appeal that cats have to humans, or to cat-lovers anyway, an appeal that has been hard-wired by evolution, and that is used here to boost sales of the work. Offset printed on coated stock in a large edition of 900, signed and numbered in ballpoint pen, the work was designed to gently mock the best practices of the fine print industry.
