Detail from the Fragments , an apartment exhibition, Belgrade, August-September 2020.

These months, while in Belgrade, I was revisiting my old works through an apartment exhibition Fragments - a patchwork of artifacts related to my past.

One of the exhibits are recent copies of my old copies (copies of copies) of Mondrian paintings I did in the Tom Otterness' studio 1982 exhibited next year at "The Ritz" show organized by the Collaborative Projects and WPA in Washington DC.

If Walter Benjamin in his Recent Writings stated that a copy of Mondrian is not an abstract painting, then what would be a copy of this copy?
